Monkeypox : 6 more probable/confirmed cases in RivCo

Six additional probable or confirmed cases of monkeypox have been reported, according to a representative for Riverside County Public Health.


Jose Arballo verified in a tweet early on Monday: "They are all males between the ages of 20 and 70 who reside in eastern Riverside County.

 San Bernardino County was allocated one prior probable case. 34 cases are confirmed or likely, in total."

28 people had been counted as of July 28. Eisenhower Health's Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs,

Dr. Alan Williamson, stated: "We at Eisenhower received our first batch of monkeypox vaccine around ten days ago.

Last week, we administered that batch of vaccinations. Our second shipment arrived last Friday, and 337 additional doses of the vaccine arrived the same day ".

According to the public health department for Riverside County as of Monday, there are thirty-four confirmed or probable cases.
